Senior School:

Senior students are introduced to the QQI programme when they are 16 years old.  They will engage in this programme for 2 years before moving to other services within their locality.  QQI is a programme that is recognised across Europe and is a stepping stone for a number of our students to progress further in their learning.

Our Senior School delivers QQI through our learning for life programme.  A number of modules are available each year over two levels  (with a possible Level 3 programme available, depending on the cohort of students). These modules are delivered in a thematic approach with the focus on independent living.

Senior School Students experience opportunities that develop their present skills for  Learning for Life.  This includes individualised/group work where high interest activities are practised to provide our students with more confidence thereby allowing them to engage in community life as best as they possibly can.
